| FEX / Media Justice Fund
To promote a greater degree of justice in the control, production and distribution of media in San Diego and Tijuana, the Foundation for Change has joined with the Funding Exchange to create a grantmaking pool of $27,000 for media-minded organizations working for social justice. The intent of the fund is to support groups working within marginalized communities to organize around media and communication technologies to affect media accountability, infrastructure and policy change.
CALL FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS
Effective immediately San Diego groups working within marginalized communities to organize around media and communication technologies are are invited to apply for funding from the “FEX/Media Justice Fund.”

Requests for applications can also be made by calling 619-692-0527. Applications for funding must be received in the Foundation for Change offices by 12 noon on Friday, February 29, 2008. Applications may be submitted delivered by mail, fax (619-255-3640) or e-mail (info@foundation4change.org).
As is always the case at the Foundation for Change, funding decisions will be made by a select committee of respected grassroots leaders with established relationships to San Diego’s most under-served communities.
