Fires 2007 Fund

To promote a greater degree of justice in regional efforts at recovery and rebuilding,  the Foundation for Change has created a grantmaking pool exceeding $60,000 for organizations working with under-served and marginalized populations who have suffered the most from last fall's devastating fires.  The intent of the fund is to support groups working with populations that more traditional relief and recovery efforts are likely to over-look or lack the capacity to reach. 

CALL FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS

Effective immediately San Diego groups working with under-served populations who were affected by the fires are invited to apply for funding from “Fires - Fund for Change.”

Applications will be received until all funds are exhausted. Applications must be received in the Foundation for Change offices before 5 p.m. on the last day of the month to be considered in the following month. Applications may be submitted by mail, fax (619-255-3640) or e-mail (info@foundation4change.org). Requests for applications can also be made by calling 619-692-0527.

As is always the case at the Foundation for Change, funding decisions will be made by a select committee of respected grassroots leaders with established relationships to San Diego’s most under-served communities.
